Rest and Center City

We did not have any activities planned for us today. There were a few we could have signed up for a couple days ago, but by the time we found out about them they were full. I am going to make sure I sign up for next Sunday's activities because I would really love to go to the Philadelphia Zoo and go ice skating, which is what I heard next week's activities will be.

I took the lack of plans today as an opportunity to finally sleep in and get some rest. This was very nice. I stayed in my room until around noon, resting and tidying up. I then wen
t and got brunch with Audrey. Afterwards, we met up with some of our friends and decided to take the trolley to Center City.

We left around 2:00 PM, but it took us a long time to figure out how to get our tokens from CVS and actually get to Center City. We finally arrived around 3:00 PM and started to explore the area. Those of us in Social Justice had already been around there when we toured Society Hill but we didn't get to go inside any of the shops. We bought some stuff, looked around some malls, and some of us got our nails painted or eyebrows done.

We had to be back by 7:00 PM so we left around 5:30 PM to be safe. We got back around 5:45 PM, though, because it was a lot more simple than the way there. We all went to our separate rooms for a bit, then met back up to get dinner. After dinner, we did some errands like laundry and then got ice cream. Later, my RC group had a small party for one of our members, Sally, because it was her birthday. Now, I sit in my dorm writing this blog and finishing up my reading for tomorrow's class!
